KFS Browser Requirements

In general, KFS works with any browser. See below for e-SHOP's specific requirements.

If you're having problems viewing KFS in Internet Explorer (IE) 9, try using Compatibility View.

Using Chrome and Firefox

When using Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox you may occasionally encounter issues accessing e-SHOP punch-outs with mixed content. 

If you log on to e-SHOP and see the Kuali logo and tabs with a blank screen below, please follow the steps below to modify your browser settings. 

After following these steps, you should be able to access the e-SHOP punch-out catalog. If you are unable to modify your browser settings as outlined below, or if these steps do not correct the problem, contact your IT support person for assistance.

  1. Click the shield that appears in the address bar.

    For Chrome, the shield in on the right side of the address bar.


    For Firefox, the shield is on the left side.

     
  2. Click the "Load unsafe script" link in the dialog that appears below the shield.

     
  3. Click Done.

If you are using an older browser such as IE 7, the following message will be displayed. Contact IT support to request a browser upgrade.
