Welcome

The Division of Financial Affairs (DFA) is Cornell's central finance management function, led by Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer Joanne M. DeStefano.

DFA's vision consists of three components: "Partners, Stewards, Innovators." "Partners" recognizes that Cornell's decentralized organization and broad-reaching missions require successful and positive interactions with staff, faculty, and other Cornell community members. "Stewards" reflects DFA's focus on responsible and realistic policies and practices that safeguard the university's finances and other assets. As "Innovators," DFA proactively and continually improves upon its internal processes, as well as the services it offers.
