Concur’s new user interface and other changes

Posted: April 8, 2022

At the April 7 DFA Conversations event, updates were shared about some changes that have been implemented in Concur and the upcoming implementation of the new Concur user interface, scheduled for July 29, 2022. Below is more information on some recent and upcoming Concur changes and the DFA Conversation presentation video. You can get the presentation on the DFA Conversations page.

Browser Support Changes

To increase their application’s security, as of January 1, 2022, SAP Concur no longer supports using Internet Explorer 11. The best browsers to use to access Concur are Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Chromium, and Safari.

Concur Menu Changes

Concur has improved the Profile Settings menu with the following changes:

  • The Connected Apps link is gone. The page itself has been merged with the App Center, which you can access at the top of the Concur screen.
  • The Change Password and Forgot Mobile Password (PIN) options have been removed. These options are unnecessary because Cornell users sign in with their NetID and password using single sign-on.
  • Mobile Registration is now called Concur Mobile Registration.

Features Coming Soon

To improve accessibility and the general user experience, SAP Concur will implement the following features soon:

  • You will be able to set your preferred name, which will display in the Profile menu instead of the Concur home page.
  • In System Settings, you will be able to change the appearance of Concur with different themes (e.g., light, dark, high contrast).
  • The Act as Another User option will be improved so that you can more easily tell which account you’re using.
  • A new user interface will be implemented in July for the Expense and Request modules. More information is coming soon!
