The University Policy Office announces the issuance of University Policy 6.10.6, Performance Dialogue. This new university policy is a formalized and revised version of Human Resources Policy 6.10.6, Performance Appraisal.
This revised policy places emphasis on the performance dialogue as an intentional, two-way conversation that occurs annually between a non-academic staff member and supervisor, to review the staff member’s position description and job performance. It complements the ongoing conversations between staff members and supervisors throughout the year. This policy no longer requires that supervisors review their staff members’ performance dialogues and development plans with their own supervisors.
