Many of the revisions reflect added policy clarification and accurate current procedures, important for any university staff members who interact with donors, conduct gift solicitations, or receive and handle gifts. The most prominent revision is the incorporation of explicit guidance on solicitation of larger gifts, naming rights and conferral of honors, along with a process for revocation or redirection consistent with a resolution adopted by the Board of Trustees earlier this academic year.
