Transfer in-from Restricted Gift -RGGIFT Income 7043 Used in the capital project (PLCIP) account receiving funds from a Restricted Gift (RGGIFT) account.
Transfer In-from Plant Gift Income 7042 Used in the capital project (PLCIP) account receiving funds from a Plant Gift (PLGIFT) account.
Transfer In-from Capital Reserve Income 7041 Used in the capital project (PLCIP) account receiving funds from a Capital Reserve (RVCAPT) account.
Transfer In - Intrafund Income 7070 Used in the account receiving funds; accounts on both sides of transfer are in same FUND group (i.e. GN to GN, RG to RG). This object code must always be used with 8070.
Transfer In - Intrafund- Between Units Income 7075 Used in the account receiving funds; accounts on both sides of transfer are in same FUND group (i.e. GN to GN, RG to RG) AND in different college or division. This object code must always be used with 8075.
Transfer Out - Intrafund- Between Units Expense 8075 Used in the account receiving funds; accounts on both sides of transfer are in same FUND group (i.e. GN to GN, RG to RG) AND in different college or division. This object code must always be used with 7075.
Transfer In - from Current Operating Income 7000 Used in the account receiving funds when transferring from an operating account (Fund GN or RG). If accounts on both sides of transfer are in the same fund group, 707x/807x may be a better choice. REMINDER: Do NOT transfer between restriction classes!
Transfer In - from Sale of Capital Asset Income 4850 Used in the account receiving funds when selling capital equipment to another Cornell department. For use on a Transfer of Funds doc only. MUST ALWAYS BE USED WITH 3850.
Transfer In - from Trust Income 7015 Used in the account receiving funds from a trust account (INCHTR/INCHTT/INCHTU and INFHFO)
Transfer Out - Intrafund Expense 8070 Used in the account providing funds; accounts on both sides of transfer are in same FUND group (i.e. GN to GN, RG to RG). This object code must always be used with 7070.
Transfer Out -From Purchase of Cap Asset Expense 3850 Used in the account providing funds when purchasing capital equipment from another Cornell department. For use on a Transfer of Funds doc only. MUST ALWAYS BE USED WITH 4850.
Transfer Out - to Current Operating Expense 8000 Used in the account providing funds to an operating account (Fund GN or RG). If accounts on both sides of transfer are in the same fund group, 707x/807x may be a better choice. REMINDER: Do NOT transfer between restriction classes!
Transfer Out - to Capital Projects/CIP Expense 8035 Used in either an operating or a reserve account that is providing funds for a capital project (PLCIP/PLSUCF).
Cost of Benefits - Admin Expense 5906 Used for vendor expenses related to the administration of various employee benefit programs. DFA/HR use only.
Cost of Benefits - Health & Welfare Expense 5904 Used for various health care benefit expenses, such as the university's HSA contribution and payments to health care providers for claims processing, both payroll and manual entries. May be used by units in rare instances for the payment of university share health insurance and related costs.
Cost of Benefits - Other Programs Expense 5912 Used for various fringe benefit expenses such as childcare expenses, CLASP Funding, retiree events, and employee service awards. DFA/HR use only.
Cost of Benefits - Sabbatical Expense 5914 Used for the university's benefit and salary expense related to faculty on sabbatical leave. Expenses posted to compensation object codes through payroll processing and manually moved to this object code. DFA/UBO use only.
Cost of Benefits - Retiree Contribution Expense 5921 Used for retirees' contribution toward the cost of health care insurance premiums. DFA/HR use only.
Benefits - Transportation Subsidy Expense 5908 Used for payroll generated entries for the university's expense related to the NY MTA tax and other transportation subsidies offered to employees.
Cost of Benefits - FICA Expense 5900 Used for payroll generated entries for the University's expense related to Medicare and OASDI taxes. DFA use only.
