On Sunday, March 13, 2016, we added a new feature to KFS Account e-docs that makes it very easy to access in one place any notes and attachments ever added to the account.
All notes and attachments associated with an account now can be viewed via an account search. Also, when you edit an account, all notes and attachments from prior Account edocs are brought forward to the current edoc.
We have discovered that notes and attachments can only be added to the e-doc when the doc is in the action list, so we'll need to do more work related to this functionality.
We have identified three different workarounds to add notes and attachments to accounts e-docs:
If an account e-doc is in your action list, and additional information is needed from another user, you may ad hoc route the doc for approval to the individual user. Once they approve the doc, it will return to your action list and include any new notes or attachments.
If the note is in your action list, you can add notes or attachments to the current e-doc based on information provided by another person.
If the e-doc is FINAL, a new account edit e-doc must be processed to add the note or attachment. It will then be part of the notes and attachment string.
