COVID-19 Response: DFA’s coverage expectations

As President Pollack has issued the statement asking units to complete and implement emergency response plans by March 20, we in the Division of Financial Affairs (DFA) have completed our plans and have implemented remote work for as many of our staff members as possible as of Tuesday, March 17.

What to Expect

While most of us are dispersed off-campus, we are fully prepared to meet our customers’ needs during this challenging time. You should expect that services currently provided electronically will continue. If any circumstances change, we will let you know promptly. You may receive additional announcements from our individual departments.

Contacting Our Staff Members

  • You can reach our staff members and departments by email, primarily.
  • If you need to call us, staff members have been asked to check Audix messages throughout the day or have My Extension Everywhere enabled.
  • We will conduct meetings remotely via Zoom.

System Support

Financial system application questions can be submitted by email or web form:

  • Concur Support
  • OBIEE/KDW Support
  • KFS and other questions
  • e-SHOP Support
  • PaymentWorks Vendor Registration Support
  • PCard Receipts Submission Support
  • Workday/Payroll

On-Site Services

Check pickups:

  • If you scheduled to pick up an Accounts Payable check at the DFA Front Desk, you will receive an email notification once the check has arrived and is ready for pick up.
    • You can pick up checks Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Mail services will continue at this time. A DFA staff member will be in the office to handle incoming and outgoing mail.
    • If you receive a sponsored award check, mail the check along with the envelope it came in and any paperwork to PO Box 22, Ithaca, NY 14851.
    • Immediate checks for vendors are not available at this time. For help registering vendors or payees for direct deposit payments, contact Accounts Payable.

Training

Please do not come to the East Hill Plaza DFA training room.

  • All finance training courses will be held virtually via Zoom for the next 30 days. If you have enrolled in a course, you will be emailed about how to join your session.
  • All non-DFA courses using the room have been cancelled or will be presented virtually.
