Beginning January 1, 2016, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) are:
- $0.54 per mile for business miles driven, down from $0.57.5 for 2015
- $0.19 per mile driven for medical or moving purposes, down from $0.23 for 2015
