Due to the later start of the spring 2021 semester, undergraduate student aid disbursements will begin on February 1, 2021. Graduate and professional programs will disburse in accordance with their respective program dates. Refunds will not be issued until after financial aid has appeard on students' accounts and all charges have been covered.
Direct deposits of student refunds will post to the account authorized in Nelnet 2- 3 business days after a refund is generated. Students receiving paper checks must email the Bursar from their Cornell email address indicating the mailing address where they’d like to receive their checks.
Students with a negative service indicator that withholds refunds will not receive a refund until the service indicator is cleared.
