Employee Responsibilities
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Ensure that employee meal breaks have been taken according to HR Policy 6.7.10, Standard Workweek and Pay Periods
- Ensure that employees are entering time worked and verify the accuracy of the recorded time
- Approve time by the UBSC deadline
- Enter/record appropriate amount of disability hours and/or supplemental vacation/sick leave, if applicable
UBSC Responsibilities
- Send biweekly Payroll reminders to ensure that employees enter their time in the COLTS or Kronos time collection system
- Ensure time is entered correctly for special pay issues (e.g., holidays, disability, family medical leave, etc.)
- Review/confirm that meal breaks have been recorded properly
- Notify employee and appropriate supervisor when meal break was not recorded properly
