Effective with the February 2010 month-end closing, the deadline for JEMS journal creation is changing to 10:00 a.m. on the third working day of the month (March 3, 2010 for the February closing).
This change will aid in the timely processing of the high volume of entries that DFA receives during the month-end process, and is a step toward preparing for the implementation of the Kuali Financial System, which is slated for 2012.
