Payments may be made via wire transfer from any bank, both domestic and international. Please follow our domestic and international wire transfer instructions below to wire payments. Please allow 5-10 days for processing and be sure to include the student's name and Cornell ID number in the transaction.
Note: Cornell will not accept wires that exceed $10,000.00 over the student's account balance due. (For example, if the total amount due on the account is $10,000, you can wire funds of no more than $20,000.) Amounts wired over the $10,000 maximum will be returned, in total, to the originating bank.

This service offers excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks. In addition, the posting of the payment into your Cornell University account will be faster, and you will be notified via e-mail when it is received.
