Benefits of using Net.Pay

Important: Please allow two business days for payment processing. To avoid finance charges, payments must be received on the student's account by the billing due date.

How Does Net.Pay Work?

  • First, students must create a user name and password to grant access to parents or other payers
  • Students invite other payers via Net.Pay by entering the payer's e-mail address
  • The payer will receive an e-mail from Net.Pay with a PIN number
  • Secondary payers will then use the PIN number to sign up for their own account
  • Each user will be able to access the Net.Pay account using their own user names and passwords
  • Banking information is separate and secure

Note: Students should notify those who might be responsible for paying the students bills. Cornell will not be responsible for finance charges incurred due to nonpayment. You may still access your account details using Student Center.

The Net.Pay service is not available for loan or collection accounts. Please visit ECSI to make loan payments or contact us for payment arrangements on delinquent accounts.

One-Time Payment Gateway

IMPORTANT CHANGE: As of March 14, 2008, only your seven-digit Cornell ID number can be used on the One-Time Payment Gateway. If you do not know your seven-digit ID number, you can find it on Student Center or by calling Bursar Account Services at (607) 255-2336.

If other payers are responsible for paying your bill, and they do not wish to use the Net.Pay service, but would still like to make a payment electronically, they may do so using a U.S. checking or savings account through our one-time payment gateway. After payment has been made, they will receive a confirmation screen, as well as an e-mail confirmation upon completion of the transaction.
