Leaving and Withdrawing

If a student requests a leave of absence or withdrawal from the Office of the Dean of his or her college of enrollment, tuition amounts paid for by the student may be refunded on a prorated schedule. The date of the request for leave or withdrawal will determine the student's tuition liability for the semester. Refer to the schedules below for the appropriate academic years.

Financial Aid

Students who receive financial aid from the university that withdraw during a term will have their aid reevaluated, possibly necessitating repayment of a portion of aid received. Repayment to aid accounts depends on the type of aid received, government regulations, and the period in attendance.

The following schedules are based on the official " Instruction Begins" date on the academic calendar. Students enrolled in classes that begin before the official "Instruction Begins" date on the academic calendar will have their refund percentages adjusted accordingly.
