In the course of your day-to-day responsibilities, you may have the need for temporary or contractual talent.
To assist you with locating temporary talent in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused manner, contracts have been awarded to several suppliers.
Note: The Recruitment and Employment Center no longer maintains a database of talent interested in temporary opportunities outside of the Jobs at Cornell database.
Before contacting these suppliers, we encourage you to engage internal resources, which include the following:
- Posting the opportunity under "Temporary Opportunities" on our Jobs at Cornell website. Temporary opportunities do not have a minimum posting time requirement
- Conducting a search of the Jobs at Cornell resume database for available talent (including Cornell staff on layoff status) who have indicated that they have an interest in temporary opportunities
- The possibility of this opportunity becoming a project or development opportunity for a current employee in your organization
- Kelly Wagstaff (kjw79@cornell.edu or 254-8380), Dual Career Program Manager, consults with spouses and/or partners of potential and current Cornell staff and faculty members who may have an interest in pursuing temporary opportunities
If you still have a need for temporary talent after considering and/or utilizing internal resources, contact one of the following preferred suppliers that offer the university cost-effective mark-up rates, enhanced reporting, orientation, and feedback processes.
