The Kuali Financial System is the data of record and transactional management tool for most financial data on the Ithaca campus. Accessible by financial staff across the university, KFS provides for the entry of financial transactions through a variety of task-specific electronic documents (e-docs). KFS's capabilities include a robust chart of accounts, self-balancing design, native fund-based accounting, comprehensive reconciliation, and flexible workflow. Access KFS

Data from the Kuali Financial System (KFS) is extracted each business night, transformed into report-enabling dimensional models, and loaded into the Kuali Data Warehouse (KDW). Financial Information Services maintains a number of preformated reports through Cornell’s centrally supported, web-based business intelligence system, Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Analytics.
