The university policy library is structured in two levels: volumes, and chapters, or "policies."
Volumes represent the general topics that encompass many individual policies. For example, the volume "Financial Management" includes topics such as travel reimbursement, bank accounts, and cash handling.
Chapters are subdivisions of volumes. For example, the policy for "University Travel" is a chapter in the "Financial Management" volume.
Each policy volume contains policies that have been through the formal development process of the University Policy Office, which are numbered, as well as those developed and hosted by their responsible offices, which are not numbered. Each numbered policy has its own page on this site, and each unnumbered policy is listed on a single page of "Other" policies within each volume.
If you need assistance locating a policy, or if you have questions about one of the policies on our site, please contact our office.
