Cash and Operations

Cash Management and Investment Operations is the conduit between Cornell University and its banking institutions. The department provides guidance to the Cornell community for fiscal responsibility related to cash handling procedures, including the following:

  • Credit card, check, and bank policies and procedures
  • Cash handling and payment services

Cash Management and Investment Accounting's goal is two-fold: provide fundamental policies and procedures to departments on exercising good fiscal stewardship over Cornell’s assets, and assist departments with ongoing needs to facilitate a more efficient operating environment.
