The Office of the Bursar offers several payment options: the monthly Cornell Installment Plan, electronic payments via Net.Pay, and wire transfers. We accept check payments by mail, and check or cash payments in person. Other payment options include third-party billing (for sponsored students) and college savings plans.
Students and other authorized payers may pay the bursar bill online via their Net.Pay account. Payers not enrolled in Net.Pay may pay the bursar bill electronically via Net.Pay's Payment Without Bill Presentment.
Send your payment stub and a check or money order to the Office of the Bursar, P.O. Box 6738, Ithaca, NY 14851-6738. Please indicate on the stub the payment amount to be applied to each account (the Bursar and/or CornellCard).
Bring your payment, along with your payment coupon, to the Office of the Bursar, 260 Day Hall, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Because paying in person may involve waiting in line, especially during registration times, we encourage you to pay by mail or online.
Full payment of your student bill is due by the date indicated on your statement. You are responsible for paying any amounts not covered by financial aid or outside sources. A late-payment penalty of 1.25% of any past-due balances will be assessed. A past-due balance may result in your student account being placed on financial hold, which restricts future registration and receipt of diplomas and transcripts.
