The Foreign Flag Carrier Approval Exemption Certification Form was designed by Sponsored Financial Services to meet the documentation and certification requirements of the Fly America Act for travelers who fly internationally on a foreign flag carrier and use federal funds to pay for their trip. Under the act, travelers using federal funds must fly on a U.S. carrier. Exemptions are allowed under certain circumstances, which must be documented and certified by the traveler.
