June 14, 2011 - Kuali Financial System at Cornell
Keywords: Kuali Financial System
The following is a post from the Kuali Financial System at Cornell Blog.
We are proud to announce that the Kuali Financial System is now live in limited production release. The KFS technical and functional teams worked extremely hard over the weekend to stand up and validate the production platform that we’ll be going live with on July 1, 2011.
We have reached this point after two successful dress rehearsals that included full integration testing, data conversion validation and interface remediation validation. KFS stakeholders have signed off that the system is ready and it has been re-built for go-live.
In recognition of this very important milestone, we would like to give heart-felt appreciation to all who have participated in making this possible. In addition to our KFS Steering Committee and functional and technical teams, we would like to thank the nearly 500 staff that have worked to help shape the project.
Over five years of planning and work have gone into this moment. There is still a great deal of work to be done, but this is a very proud moment for all of us on the KFS project and for the larger Cornell community.
Note: During the limited release period between now and July 1, a limited number of users will continue to set up vendors, perform maintenance on the new Cornell chart of accounts, and establish workflow and delegations—all in preparation for the general release on July 1.
