Our goal is to provide the best training to our customers so they become better stewards of university resources.  We make customer service and customer education our number-one priority.  To accomplish this, we have developed over forty courses , offered each semester.  These courses have been designed in partnership with our customers to address every major business process within university finance to increase participants' effectiveness at their workplaces.

Course topics include policies, forms, and exercises to reinforce the materials covered.  Training ranges from single-course offerings, to certificate programs, to Web-based tutorials.  Our courses are well-known throughout the Cornell community and have received outstanding reviews from all who have participated.

Announcements and News

*****  EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2006 *****

In August 2006, DFA will be joining OHR and CIT to implement a new class registration system for the Fall '06 and Spring '07 semesters.  Customers will still use the current Course Catalog and Registration  site.

E-mail reminders, online cancellations, and wait-listing for classes will not be available during this initial roll-out but should be added sometime during the fall.  In the interim, those registering for classes will need to manually keep track of the dates/times of the classes for which they have registered on their calendars.

Instead of wait-listing, registrants will be asked to register for the next available class.

Anyone needing to cancel registration for a class must contact Heather Carpenter  at least one business day before the class.  Failure to attend or cancel any registered class 24 hours before the class will result in a $35.00 "no-show" fee.
