Restricted Windows Users

The following capabilities have been restricted for those users in the Restricted User Group in DFA:

• Unable to delete printers
• Windows update unavailable
• Unable to write to system32
• Add or Remove programs are disabled
• Links to Windows update removed
• Change or Remove programs page is hidden
• Add New Programs page is hidden
• Add/Remove Windows components page is hidden
• Add a program from CD or floppy is hidden
• Add programs from Microsoft option is hidden
• Unable to go directly to components wizard
• Internet Control Panel Advanced Page is disabled
• Internet Control Panel Security Page is disabled
